At Thomas’s we are committed to defining, fostering and sustaining an inclusive, equitable and just environment that creates a sense of inclusion and belonging for all.
Everyone within the Thomas’s community has the right to feel safe and secure, and know that their individual differences are welcomed and appreciated. These include differences of age, ethnicity, family structure, gender identity and expression, language, learning ability, nationality, physical ability, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. Diversity is vital to developing socially responsible and internationally minded citizens.
To establish this, we implement transparent policies and practices, provide appropriate training to our staff and promote equity, diversity and inclusion through our Values and across our curriculum.
Each Thomas’s School has an EDI Lead who oversees all EDI initiatives within their school community, involving pupils, staff and parents.
